The Brixton centre remains closed and access has still not been granted to it by the police. We have moved into a temporary centre&amp;nbsp;at&amp;nbsp;Bon Marche Centre Unit 210, 241-251 Ferndale Road, Brixton, SW9 8BJ.&amp;nbsp;

The safety of our staff and our jobseekers still remains the most important&amp;nbsp;priority even though we continue to take a business-as-usual view.

	  <description>Following the disturbances in various parts of the UK over the past few days, Careers Development Group (CDG) has taken the decision to close all of its London centres at 3pm on Tuesday 9 August. Our Lewisham centre will be shut from 1pm.

Those participants who had appointments after 3pm are being contacted by our Customer Support Centre.

As reported yesterday, our Brixton centre is the only CDG site still directly affected and we expect it to reopen on Monday 15 August.

	  <description>Easter at the children&amp;rsquo;s wards of Kettering General Hospital (KGH) was celebrated in traditional style thanks to 90 chocolate eggs courtesy of local firms and a local charity.

The eggs were presented to patients and staff at KGH by local charity CDG (Careers Development Group) which bought the eggs with the support of local firms that it works with.

The charity helps more than 400 local people a year to find work and has branches in Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby and Rushden.
