CDG - WISE Ability Special Purpose Vehicle

I am delighted to announce that CDG has partnered with WISE Employment Ltd, a leading Australian Third Sector organisation and with their newly formed organisation in the UK, WISE Ability, to form a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). WISE and CDG are united by a common vision to support unemployed people to improve their quality of life, and the SPV will allow both organisations greater opportunities to achieve this.

The SPV’s first joint tender submission will be for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Work Choice service for people with disabilities. WISE are specialists in this area in Australia. We are currently developing partnership arrangements with like-minded organisations in the UK, as we believe that this will allow us to offer an even better, more tailored services for our jobseekers and employers.

We work with a range of community organisations, government agencies, local industry and commerce and training groups who are experts at what they do. Together, we work to achieve flexible and sustainable employment services solutions. Under the DWP Work Choice Programme, CDG - WISE Ability has been successful in the pre-qualification questionnaire in the following areas:

  • Leicestershire and Northamptonshire
  • West London; Central London, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey
  • South London; Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth
  • Hampshire and Isle of Wight
  • Surrey & Sussex; Kent

In addition to the advantage of entering new specialist markets, the SPV will allow CDG to diversify its mix of contracts and customer groups. It will also ensure that both organisations benefit from the sharing of expertise and international best practice at almost every level. By combining skills and experience in this way, CDG - WISE Ability will enhance the work of both organisations in providing flexible and sustainable employment services solutions.

Thanks
