Exciting developments have taken place for CDG in the international welfare to work sector over the last couple of years.


BEST CDG
Called BEST CDG Pty Ltd, this for profit organisation is owned by CDG and BEST Community Development, another leading third sector organisation in the Australian welfare to work sector.

The new organisation will operate in line with the charitable ethos of both CDG and BEST Community Development, and will allow CDG and BEST CD to tender in partnership for business in Australia.

BEST CD is a not for profit community based organisation with a reputation for delivering high quality services. It has over three decades of experience in employment, training, disability, youth and a range of community and business services.

Ron Stone, chief executive of BEST CD, said: "Our organisations clearly have much to learn from each other and the advantages of future joint submissions through the new company and various other partnerships will no doubt make us a formidable and very competitive team in Australia and elsewhere."

CDG - WISE Ability Ltd
CDG - WISE Ability is a UK-based special purpose vehicle, owned jointly by CDG and by Australian welfare to work provider, WISE Employment. It is a for profit company, but which operates in line with the charitable values of its two parent companies.

WISE Employment provides specialist employment services with 25 branches in Australia. It has grown to become one of the leading specialist employment services in Australia, providing assistance to over 18,000 customers per year.
