OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

A CDG staff member assisting a customer with her job search by looking through a local newspaperWe will provide you with the best advisor available with the relevant skills and expertise to help you.

If we believe there are other organisations that are better suited to meeting your needs, we will refer you to them to ensure you get the support you need and deserve.

You will have a personalised plan created with your advisor. This plan will be tailored to your individual skills, needs, and job goals, and will outline the steps required to find employment.

Everyone can also request and receive a Better Off in Work Calculation, to show how much better off they are financially in work than on benefits.

We will not treat anybody on our Work Programme as ‘unemployable’ or too time-consuming to support, and will treat everyone fairly and equally – providing them with the individual support they require.

We recognise that the job you take might not be the job you want to do in the long term. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to work towards achieving long term career goals. As a result, we will continue to offer you access to our resources and support facilities after you move into employment. This will help you to progress in work and move closer to a role that fulfils your aspirations.

We develop relationships of mutual trust and respect with all participants and encourage you to provide us with feedback that will help us to improve the services we offer.
