HELPING HANDS

Depending on what support you need, the following people could help you before and after you find employment.

Employment advisors
Your employment advisor will be your key point of contact in centres, providing you with regular advice and guidance along the way.

We have a wide range of advisors with different skills and will match you to the best available one for your needs and goals.

Job brokers
Job brokers are recruitment specialists, on hand to provide coaching and training to meet the needs of the local labour market. Your job broker will help to ensure you are maximising your chances of employment by reviewing your jobsearch activity and discussing your progress with you.

Customer Support Centre
Our Customer Support Centre will be able to handle any questions you may have when you’re out of the centre or your advisor is unavailable. If the Customer Support Centre is unable to help you directly, they will try to find out who can provide the assistance you are looking for.

Employment coaches
Employment coaches run jobsearch advice sessions providing advice on developing CVs and completing job applications. They can also help you to develop the skills needed to succeed in employment.

Employer relationship managers
Our employer relationship managers actively build relationships with employers in the London area, and promote the benefits of recruiting our Work Programme participants to meet their business needs.

Volunteers
Careers Development Group is building a network of expert volunteers across the country who are interested in helping people to return to work.

These volunteers can provide expert knowledge about the sectors you want to work in, and advice on how to gain or progress employment in those industries.
