ABOUT CDG

A CDG jobseeker reads a job advertisementWhat do we do differently?

Customer Support Centre
Your needs don’t start at 9am and end at 5pm, Monday to Friday.

To support you outside office hours we offer a telephone support helpline, seven days a week, to assist with any concerns or questions you may have.

In cases where we can’t help you directly, we will seek to put you in touch with someone who can.

Our Customer Support Centre will even offer a callback service, so that you don’t have to pay for the call.

e-kwip.me
We offer computer-based training to all of our jobseekers through our e-learning system, ‘e-kwip.me’. This allows you to continue your learning at home, at a library, or wherever is convenient to you. You will also have access to e-kwip.me before and after you start work.

CDG Volunteers
We have a network of volunteers that can provide extra help to you on your journey into work. This includes people with experience in the field you want to work in, people who have been through the problems you currently face, or inspirational people from your community.

Re-investment
As a charity, we re-invest any surplus money into our services, the local community, and social enterprises to create further job opportunities. We continually aim to provide better services to those with whom we work, help more people into work, and benefit the wider communities in the areas where we operate.
