They provide designer fashion at High Street prices and were one of the first fashion outlets to launch a size 16+ range in the UK. New Look believe that everyone can enjoy fashion, no matter what age, shape or size.

Joanne Zammit, Manager of New Look – Kingston, met up with her local CDG team to discuss how our services could help her fill instore vacancies quickly and effectively. Between them, they agreed the key skills and personality traits required by New Look, and arrangements were made for Joanne to meet and interview the CDG candidates who met the criteria.

Joanne hired one person following the first stage of interviews and has continued to work with CDG and hired a further three candidates over the past six months. Joanne says “CDG are very helpful, they understand my in-store needs. Their candidates are all keen to learn and progress, and are genuinely enthusiastic, which is perfect for a busy retail outlet. Importantly, their service allows me to fill vacancies quickly and effectively at any time of the year.”

Topps Tiles
Topps Tiles is Britain’s biggest tile and wood flooring specialist, with more than 230 stores throughout the UK. Starting business in Manchester in 1963, it was a pioneering concept offering customers quality tiles at bargain prices. Today, Topps Tiles provides the best the world can offer in wall and floor tiles.

CDG first partnered Topps Tiles at a local level in early 2007, working alongside branches in Ealing. The relationship started smoothly by filling a couple of vacancies with good quality candidates.

CDG now assist in the recruitment needs of more than ten Topps branches in North West London, West London and the Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth areas. Sagren Naidoo is the London Area Manager for Topps Tiles and he has worked closely with his Job Performance Officer to ensure that he maximises the benefits of the relationship with CDG: “Working with CDG has many advantages; they arrange recruitment days at one of their local offices when we have multiple personnel needs and they ensure suitable candidates are invited; I can then interview and hire as I wish.

Topps Tiles have also taken advantage of the work trials scheme, allowing them to take a potential employee on-board for up to two weeks without incurring any costs. So far, Topps Tiles have hired 10 people through CDG recruitment days and trials.
