CDG VOLUNTEERS

As a leading welfare to work charity, CDG exists to help individuals into employment and continually strives to improve the ways in which it achieves this.

As part of this, the organisation now utilises the experience and dedication of skilled volunteers as part of the Expert Volunteer Initiative.

Many of the people we support have multiple barriers to employment, including lack of recent work experience, disabilities, health problems and lack of relevant employability skills. We provide training, work experience and the support necessary to enable our jobseekers to achieve a better quality of life.

Our volunteer programme, CDG Volunteers, offers our jobseekers an extra helping hand, over and above the support of our own staff.

CDG Volunteers are an integral part of the support we provide to our participants, offering additional skills and experience to share with the charity and our Work Programme jobseekers.
