CHA PATEL

Cha has over 30 years of senior finance experience in a number of sectors, primarily in financial services. This includes time at British Leyland, Abbey National, Toronto Dominion Bank, ARM Corporate Finance and Grant Thornton.

Since 2003, Cha has been director of her own consultancy (Igloo Consultants) providing strategic advice to companies and undertaking specific projects.  

She has served as a non-executive director at Amicus Horizon Housing Association from 2004-2007, where she chaired the audit committee and sat on numerous board committees during the merger.

Since 2009 Cha has been a non-executive director of the Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, a mental health provider in North London, where she also chairs the finance and estates committee of the board.

She has a wide variety of interests taking an active role in her community and family. She also speaks nine languages and mentors young people in career and educational choices.
